The Enterprise Team has a dedicated role to manage the University’s Intellectual Property (IP) portfolio and develop Knowledge Exchange opportunities with organisations in the public and private sector.

Activities managed by the team include:

Protection and commercialisation of IP assets (licencing, spin-outs, social enterprises)
Development of large scale enterprise initiatives
Preparation of IP exploitation plans
Support preparation of legal agreements (Non-Disclosure Agreements, Consultancy, Contract Research)
Sign-off IP terms in collaboration agreements
Manage the University’s patent portfolio
Strategic partnership development
Knowledge Transfer Partnerships
Knowledge exchange and commercialisation training
