Quarterly Review of Research

Each quarter we collate a Quarterly Review of Research. This publication aims to celebrate the advances in research achieved by our staff and students with an emphasis on the journal articles, book chapters and other peer-reviewed outputs that we have published. It also highlights postgraduate research student successes, as well as tracking downloads of outputs from Open Research Online and lists significant new research grant awards.

OU research calls for age‑inclusive learning ecosystems

A new research paper led by an Open University expert in ageing well, argues that the UK must urgently rethink how it supports health and wellbeing outcomes for ageing populations, ideally utilising inclusive and participatory engagement to nurture learning in later life.
