Quarterly Review of Research

Each quarter we collate a Quarterly Review of Research. This publication aims to celebrate the advances in research achieved by our staff and students with an emphasis on the journal articles, book chapters and other peer-reviewed outputs that we have published. It also highlights postgraduate research student successes, as well as tracking downloads of outputs from Open Research Online and lists significant new research grant awards.

OU researchers win prestigious EDEN Best Research Paper Award

Researchers from The Open University’s Institute of Educational Technology have received international recognition at the 2026 EDEN Annual Conference in Porto, with two papers shortlisted for the prestigious EDEN Best Research Paper Award and one selected as the overall winner.
