OU research into Grenfell Tower shortlisted for award

Research by OU academics dedicated to the continued struggle for truth, justice and recognition for all those who lost their lives in the tragic fire at Grenfell Tower, has been shortlisted for the Arts and Humanities Research Council’s prestigious 2018 Research in Film Awards.

The film created by Dr David Scott, OU Senior Lecturer in Criminology, describes the tragedy as being “one of the biggest indictments on the toxic and deadly harms generated by the policies of deregulation and austerity in the last decade”.
