Ethical Research Review Body

Policy

The Ethical Research Review Body (ERRB) (internal link only) advises Faculties on Open University research and Knowledge Exchange activity that poses ethical, legal/compliance and/or reputational risks for the University, other than those falling within the remit of the Human Research Ethics Committee and the Animal Welfare Ethical Review Body. These risks are set out in The Open University Ethical Research Statement.

What you should do

You should give due consideration to any such risks inherent in the process and the potential outcomes of the project/activity before it commences. Where potential high risks are identified, please refer it to ERRB (internal link only) for consideration.
