To develop and evaluate 3D simulation for qualified social workers. This project is going to engage young people from Care at the Central Bedfordshire Council to ascertain their views about the development of risk assessment and management simulation games. Their engagement will enable evaluation of the product developed and also support development of the next phase of the product. Furthermore, children social workers from the Central Bedfordshire will be involved to learn about the simulation games and evaluate the product. Their testimonials will be pivotal to commercialise the simulation games. This is an extension of an 18/19 HEIF funded project, and AMS 1243931

To explore social workers’ health and well-being at Middlesbrough. This will be achieved by collecting data from social workers at Middlesbrough Council on the following areas: Supervision Performance Communication CPD Well-being Case management Workload management In order to collect data, PI will administer questionnaires (90 social workers) and carry out a focus group discussions (10 social workers). Analyse both qualitative and quantitative data, write a report and present the report to the senior managers.
