PhD Immunology (2013)
BSc (Hons) Biochemistry (2007)
I am an immunologist who has particular research interest in ageing/health span and cancer biology. I use extracellular vesicles and engineered proteins to investigate the control of tissues and cellular communication in cancer progression and immune mediated tissue modeling.
Global Health and Development
Cell communication, Extracellular Vesicles (EVs), Prognostics, Tissue repair/ageing and Protein design.
Current research projects include examining EVs from Neuroendicrine Prostate Cancer in Hypoxic conditions. Examining Extra Low-Frequency Magnetic Fields effects as a potential cancer therapeutic treatment. EVs to modulate the Immunological response.
