Despite decades of progress in discovering planets outside our solar system, research by the OU has concluded that there is still insufficient evidence to say exactly how planets are made. The research is led by a team of OU academics headed up by Dr Helen Fraser, Senior Lecturer in Astronomy at the School of Physical Sciences.
