Day 132, Year of #Mygration: African Diaspora Day in Milton Keynes

African Diaspora Day will take at Campbell Park on Friday 6 and Saturday 7 July. The celebrations will include DJs, guest speakers, performers, artists, acrobats, choirs, reading poems, African fashion show, food and drinks. The after party scheduled for Saturday will include live music. Artists performing at the event include: Bileku Djouna Mumbafu (Democratic Republic of Congo), Choppah Man Dancehall Mafia (Kenya), La Balaine Blanche (Cameroon) and Mistony (based in London). African Diaspora Day aims to promote unity among Africans living in the UK through the celebration of their heritage and cultures and promotion of their social integration in the UK.

The leadership team of the Global Outreach Foundation includes participants in the learning Club on Collaborative Leadership in the Voluntary Sector organised by the Centre for Voluntary Sector Leadership at The Open University in partnership with MK Community Foundation and Community Action MK.
