OU research gets support for first canine-friendly toolkit

The OU Animal-Computer Interaction (ACI) Lab is being supported by Petplan Charitable Trust to launch its first canine-friendly toolkit by 2018.

Head of the OU Animal-Computer Interaction Lab, Dr Clara Mancini, is researching and developing interactive technology to support animals and improve their welfare and foster positive human-animal relationships. She and her team are developing a portable toolkit for Mobility Assistance Dogs and their assisted humans through its Dog-Smart Homes project.
