Professional biography

I have taught at the OU for several years, first on A251 (World Archaeology) and now on A330 (Myth in the Greek and Roman Worlds); I was also part of the development team for A340 (The Roman Empire), focusing on the interactive map.

I have a varied background in Archaeology and Classics, having taught at the Universities of Southampton, Bournemouth and Cambridge.
 

Research interests

Cultural change in the Roman Empire, especially in the frontier provinces.

Spatial analysis in archaeology and humanities.

Geophysical and topography survey.
